Lead Filters
Melinda Chapman
I will send this in the form but I'm sharing here as well.
I know there’s already awareness around the ongoing issue of lead quality, but I want to add to the conversation as it continues to impact all of our coaching businesses. While I appreciate the leads, I’m consistently receiving inquiries from people who are not looking for financial coaching but instead need support with estate planning, investing, tax advice, or EveryDollar support. Additionally, despite my profile specifying that I only work with women and couples, I still receive leads from men.
These misaligned leads pull from our time and budget, resources that could be better allocated to growing our businesses and serving the right clients. As coaches, we teach financial stewardship, and it’s frustrating to invest in leads that aren’t aligned with what we do.
A more refined screening process that ensures potential clients understand what coaching includes and filters out those seeking unrelated services would improve the experience for both coaches and clients. It would allow us to focus on the right people while ensuring those with other needs are directed to the appropriate resources. As I have branched out and now receive leads from additional sources, I realize those leads are most often aware of what a coach does and are much easier to become clients.
I'd love to see adjustments that create a more efficient and beneficial process for everyone involved

Lead quality 2/2 exchange. This should have been directed to EveryDollar support or YouTube training.

I second this! Not only is it frustrating for the coach, it is frustrating to the end user who reached out to Ramsey for help and is now being bounced from person to person.
